Bwlch Nant-yr-Arian Forest visitor centre in mid-Wales

Wild Red Kites are aed on a daily basis at the Bwlch Nant-yr-Arian Forest visitor centre in mid-Wales. The forestry commission has opened a brand new eco-friendly information centre at this location. There is excellent wheelchair access on site and disabled toilet facilities.

This is as good as the Gigrin farm kite feeding station in Rhayader and well worth a visit by members who happen to be in the mid-Wales area.

The Forest centre is located about 10 miles from the university town of Aberystwyth just off the A.44 road. There is a cafe in the information centre which provides light refreshments. The kites are fed daily at 3.00pm in the summer months and 2.00pm in the winter. There is an excellent children’s adventure play area on site and for the more active there are marked walking and mountain bike tracks.
