Description: 3.2 km (2 mile) nature trail. The shingle areas on some of the paths make this reserve difficult although the paths and hides are officially suitable for wheelchair users. Please contact the Warden if you want to arrange car access to some of the hides. The hides themselves are reasonably ok. The visitor centre is fully accessible with full viewing windows. My one criticism is that the interior can get clogged up with people and goods.

On the same road as the RSPB reserve, between the turn off for the reserve and that for the nuclear power station. You can pull over at various stages along the road, but in all cases you will encroach on the road, care must be taken at all times for your own safety and that of others (cars and lorries travel fast down this bit) You can view from the car, or squeeze out. This can be a good place for rarities and is always worth checking ( I've seen Blue-winged teal and Great Northern Diver).
