Stable Cottage: Stable Cottage is a disabled friendly bungalow in attractive grounds in Bircham, West Norfolk. It is situated approximately 5 miles from the Royal Estate of Sandringham and five miles from Titchwell and close to Hunstanton. Bircham Newton is 12 miles from the Market town of Fakenham and fifteen miles from King's Lynn. It is in an area of natural beauty but it is essential that you have a car.

The cottage has been thoughtfully converted into a disabled friendly holiday let with ample space for a wheelchair. It is approached by a gravel drive and surrounded by its own private patio. The accommodation, which is fully centrally heated, comprises of a comfortable furnished sitting room with television and video, a supply of books and a file of places to visit and pubs etc. The kitchen/dining area has a low-level hob unit and some low-level units integrated with some normal height work surfaces. There is also a combined washer/tumble drier. The kitchen is light and spacious and the back door opens out onto an attractive paved patio area. All doors are accessible for wheelchairs and sockets and switches are at an easy to reach height. Off the sitting room are two bedrooms - one with a double bed and one with twin beds. Each bedroom has its own en-suite shower (no steps) together with an optional shower seat, toilet and hand basin.

Price: The rates for Stable Cottage are £190 p.w for 2000 and £225 p.w. for 2001.

Owl Barn Cottage: Following the success of Stable Cottage, our disabled-friendly bungalow, June 2001 sees the opening of Owl Barn Cottage, an outstanding fully central heated disabled-friendly barn conversion. The ground floor accommodation comprise a well-equipped kitchen/diner including a washer/drier/ freezer/dishwasher and microwave. There is a comfortable sitting room and 1 large bedroom (with twin beds) and ensuite shower room. Upstairs there are 2 large bedrooms with 2 ensuite shower rooms plus a TV/play area. It has its own private garden and patio area.
